How to become a tester

With a free account you are in within a few minutes.

Free account

Log in with your customer account or create one in a minute. That way we know who is testing, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Choose apps

Choose the apps you want to test below and briefly confirm your consent. One click and you are signed up.

Accept the invitation

Apple sends you an invitation for the free TestFlight app. There you install the test version on iPhone, iPad or Mac. The version for your Apple Watch arrives via your iPhone.

Test versions can contain bugs, and data from tests can be lost. So do not use them for anything important.

Valid for 90 days

Test versions expire after 90 days. Apple decides that. We upload new versions regularly.

Every email from us contains an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe without logging in.

Frequently asked questions

What does testing cost?

Nothing. Neither signing up nor TestFlight nor the test versions cost anything.

What do I need?

An iPhone or iPad, for Mac apps a Mac, plus an Apple ID, the free TestFlight app and a customer account with us. If you have an Apple Watch, you install the watch version through TestFlight on your iPhone.

Do I really need an account?

Yes. With the account we can assign you clearly and send your invitation securely. The account is free, and you can have it deleted at any time.

Which email address does Apple send the invitation to?

By default to the address of your customer account. If you use a different address with Apple, enter it in the form as Apple ID email. You then confirm it once by email.

When do I get my invitation?

Usually shortly after you sign up. If there is no approved test version right now, Apple sends the invitation as soon as the next one is ready. You can see this for every app in the form.

I did not get an invitation. What now?

Check your spam folder and make sure the address matches your Apple ID. Then open the TestFlight app and check whether the test version already shows up there. If that does not help, write to us through the contact form.

Which data do you process?

Name and email address from your account, the apps you chose and the time of your consent. Apple receives name and email address to send the invitation. Details are in our privacy policy.

How do I unsubscribe?

Through the link in each of our emails or on the unsubscribe page. After that you are removed from the test group at Apple and get no more updates.
